The best cashmere comes from Mongolia

Lucky for us, we accidentally landed there over a decade ago and have had a direct connection to the world’s best cashmere ever since.

Old-school hand combing is the only cruelty free cashmere

Cashmere comes from cashmere goats — and shearing can be very stressful to them. So our herders put in the extra effort to hand comb. It’s an ancient nomadic herding tradition that’s over 2,000 years old.

Long = stronger (and softer)

Mongolia is cold (like -40 degrees cold in the winter). To combat it, Mongolian goats naturally grow longer fur. It’s part of the reason our cashmere is extra soft and lasts a lifetime.

Organic shmorganic

Almost all cashmere sourced from Mongolia is organic, but not all of it is sustainable. We’re proud members of the Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA): an international organization that works across the entire cashmere supply chain to improve animal welfare, preserve grasslands, and secure herder livelihoods.

Cashmere fibers are some of the only fibers in the world that are hollow — making them naturally lightweight, breathable, and thermoregulating. When blended with other fibers, cashmere instantly makes any material lighter and softer.
